    It is your exact time of birth that makes your horoscope unique. Your time of birth indicates the unique path of your destiny, that is different from all those people’s destinies who were born at your place of birth on your birthday. From your exact time of birth an astrologer can calculate the timing of good opportunities for love, success, happiness, money, and your career.     How to Find Time of Birth
    Regardless of where you were born, there is a way for you to find your birth time.

    Step 1 Talk to your parents. They may have recorded the exact time of your birth in a journal or baby book. However, this birth time may not be as accurate as the time recorded by the attending physician or midwife.

    Step 2 Order your birth certificate. Not all areas include your time of birth on a birth certificate, though, and rules for recording time of birth on a certificate have changed over time. When you order, ask explicitly for your birth time information. If your birth time is recorded, you'll receive it. In Canada you can contact the Department of Vital Statistics for your area. If your parent or parents are deceased you would direct your call or inquiry to the Genealogy Section.

    Step 3 Contact the hospital or birth facility where you were born, which may be written on your birth certificate. Most facilities do keep birth records and should be able to access them for you. Ask what you need to do to obtain them.

    Step 4 Consult a well experienced muscle tester to obtain time of birth from your body’s memory. In some instances this can be tricky depending on the circumstances of the birth. But by asking the correct questions the muscle tester can produce excellent results which can be tested by the astrologer through the process of rectification described below if desired.

    Step 5 Visit an astrologer for a birth time rectification if you cannot find your time of birth and are seeking it for astrological reasons, such as to create a birth chart. You need to be able to provide the exact time of at least 15 major life events for a rectification. Rectification is the astrologer’s term for a mathematical correction of the time of birth. You tell your astrologer the exact timing of major life events that have happened during your life time. From those events astrologers can work backwards from the known event to ascertain an exact time of birth that agrees with all events. It is a bit of an art, and some astrologers may take more than a full day to calculate your time of birth. So, be kind to your astrologer, give them only absolutely accurate dates. You can search through all your personal documents, and locate dates such as passport (for travel stamps), certificates, contracts, letters, awards, diaries, appointment books, etc.
